As the New Year dawns, the SYZYGY Global team is extremely thankful for the amazing successes of the last year, and excited to charge into 2023. Taking a look back at 2022, it was a year of immense growth for us as a pergola contractor, but some of the most heartfelt achievements were recognitions from our peers and some amazing opportunities to give back to our South Florida communities.
At its core, the SYZYGY Global team is in the people business. It’s the members of our team, the customers we serve, and the extended community here in South Florida that drive us on a daily basis. This commitment extends to our charitable and community-building efforts as well. We are proud to be partnered with some amazing non-profit organizations that serve at-risk communities throughout the region. In 2022, we expanded our partnership with Eat Better Live Better (EBLB), a non-profit that helps teach school children about nutritious eating habits, and provides grocery assistance for food-insecure families. Our team hosted multiple food drives throughout the year, raised needed funding for EBLB programs, and extended our participation in the annual “Teachers Giving” program. This latter program saw SYZYGY Global donate turkeys to each teacher and staffer at Atlantic High School in Delray Beach to help make their Thanksgiving a bit more heartwarming.
Every project we undertake is an opportunity for us to work with some of the most amazing designers and construction professionals in Florida. With each outdoor space we create, we have the chance to change the way a family gathers together or make a lasting impact on a local business. When our industry peers pause to recognize us for our work, it really reminds us of the great opportunity before us. Another great honor for the SYZYGY Global team is earning the trust of some of South Florida’s most iconic businesses. The pergola design that we create have always been our greatest reference, so we are excited when past customers refer us to their peers. In 2022, this word-of-mouth reached a new level for us, allowing us the opportunity to work with companies like Tiger Wood’s PopStroke building patio covers for two of its newest locations in Katy, Texas and Glendale, Arizona. This also extended to hotel icon Hilton where we created louvered rooftop patio covers for the Sky Bar at its Fort Lauderdale Beach location, and Christ Fellowship Church in Westlake, Florida where we designed and built covered entryways for the church.
We also completed projects for prestigious country clubs throughout the region including Woodfield Country Club, Boca West Country Club, The Club at Admirals Cove, and a project for Jonathan’s Landing Golf Club which was the quickest turnaround time we’ve seen, with the project designed and installed in just 90 days. All told, SYZYGY Global completed 70+ residential and commercial outdoor living spaces in 2022.
Finally, in 2022, SYZYGY Global prepared for the future. Over the course of the year, we finalized our partnership with our manufacturing partners at Azenco. This SYZYGY + Azenco relationship ensures our customers will continue to enjoy the highest quality pergolas, carports and cabanas on the market. Together we exhibited at the 2022 NAHB International Builders’ Show where attendees were able to see the amazing possibilities that grow from one of the best pergola designers working hand-in-hand with the market-leading pergola fabricator.
We also designed, built and launched our new award-winning SYZYGY website which you are reading right now. Packed with helpful insights for customers and potential customers, our new website is more than just a marketing tool, it is a destination for any and all information about modern outdoor living spaces.
2022 was in fact a very good year for SYZYGY Global, our partners, customers and communities, and we look forward to reaching new heights in 2023 as your South Florida pergola company.
