SYZYGY Global is excited to be partnering with Eat Better Live Better (EBLB) to donate a Thanksgiving turkey to every teacher at Atlantic High School in Delray Beach, Florida. This week, the SYZYGY team joined staff from EBLB to recognize the hard work and dedication of all the teachers at each of Palm Beach County’s Title 1 schools. The annual “Teachers Giving” program is an opportunity for the local community to show gratitude for our tireless school employees who mold the future generations of South Florida. SYZYGY Global, alongside other industry experts, Illuminations FL, and Endless Summer Pools adopted all teachers and staff at Atlantic High School, where we were able to visit with the teachers to personally thank them and distribute 200+ turkeys for the holidays.
Eat Better Live Better is a non-profit focused on improving child health through an array of offline and online nutrition education programs. Its programs are offered in collaboration with local schools and health centers throughout South Florida. Moments of food insecurity often force families to choose less-healthy food options. EBLB teaches children the importance of nutrition and making healthy choices that help alleviate the health impacts of obesity and associated diseases.
Through its regular interaction with teachers and school staff throughout the county, the EBLB team routinely sees first-hand how dedicated our local teachers are to their students. Many of our teachers are living paycheck-to-paycheck while devoting so much of their personal funds to outfitting classrooms, ensuring students have necessary school supplies, etc. The “Teachers Giving” program is an opportunity for all of us to thank our teachers, support staff, administration, custodial and cafeteria staff for their dedication to our children and their education, and to make sure they all get to enjoy the traditions of the holiday with their families.
In total, this year’s “Teachers Giving” program expects to distribute more than 1000 turkeys to teachers and staff throughout the county. The holiday program, like all EBLB programs are generously supported by corporate, community and individual donors throughout the year. Ultimately, EBLB’s goal is to make sure every teacher in Palm Beach County receives a turkey, yearly.
