Earlier this month, the SYZYGY Global team joined our manufacturing partners, Azenco at the annual NAHB International Builders’ Show 2023 in illustrious Las Vegas. Hosted by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), the IBS Expo brings together vendors and building professionals from every sector of the national construction industry. The show is always a fantastic opportunity to highlight the projects the SYZYGY Global team has done recently while displaying the latest innovations in our rapidly evolving world of construction.
During IBS, we connect with a nationwide network of pergola dealers that design modern outdoor living spaces to achieve client goals. Together, we discuss the methods we use to approach unique projects in different locations throughout the country. We were excited to have the chance to showcase our portfolio of SYZYGY-crafted pergola designs like the interactive golf facility and covered outdoor dining space we completed for Boca West Country Club and the one-of-a-kind porte cochere walkway for The Club at Admirals Cove.
At a show loaded with the building industry’s most acclaimed brands and innovative designers, this year’s Azenco booth was a real standout. For this year’s demo booth, they created a one-of-a-kind outdoor living space featuring each of the innovative outdoor living products in the manufacturing lineup. The main gathering space in the booth was covered with a functioning R-Blade motorized adjustable louvered roof pergola that allowed visitors to see the whisper-quiet louvers in action. Inside the booth, Azenco’s modular K-Bana cabana offered a relaxed inset seating area with the manually operated louvered roof system, giving patrons relief from the bustling convention. Stepping around the outside of the patio cover, the booth featured a section of the Azenco PoolDeck allowing guests to demo the three-in-one motorized pool cover, deck and patio system as it glided across its rail system.
Having recently won a series of NAHB PRISM Awards from the Gold Coast Builders Association, our South Florida regional affiliate of the NAHB, the SYZYGY team was eager to check out the award honorees at this year’s national IBS Expo. The innovative new products that garnered some of these awards did not disappoint. The potential to integrate these creative, innovative, and sleek products with the clean lines of the Azenco pergolas could make for some truly elegant-looking pergola designs.
