The SYZYGY Global team is celebrating its win of the 2023 Viddy Platinum Award for Best Short Form Web Video. The award recognizes the team’s outstanding achievement in creating a short promotional video that showcases the recent luxury rooftop pool project in Delray Beach, Florida. This project exemplifies SYZYGY Global’s expertise in innovative outdoor living structures and unique design and construction capabilities.
For the past 28 years, the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) has assembled a panel of esteemed video industry judges to select the winners of the highly coveted Viddy Awards. The awards acknowledge exceptional video and digital production achievements from various sources, including network news, local media affiliates, production companies, marketing and advertising agencies, and corporate promotional productions. The Viddy Awards, previously known as the “Videographer Awards,” were rebranded to encompass the expanding scope of modern-day video production.

The Viddy Award is a testament to the remarkable work produced by the SYZYGY Global marketing team, which was fueled by an inspiring muse: the luxury rooftop pool project recently completed for an oceanfront estate in Delray Beach.
Oceanfront luxury is one of the defining characteristics of Delray Beach, and residents here prize their local architecture. The city is known for its grand waterfront estates that rise above the trees to overlook the deep blue Atlantic. This magnificent home featured an expansive rooftop pool that became inaccessible during the hottest parts of the day. So, the SYZYGY design team envisioned a shade solution that not only kept the space cool but perfectly complemented the home’s historic architecture.
Featuring a louvered pergola R-Blade, the design allows the homeowners to open the motorized roof to allow the sun to reach the pool deck or partially close the louvers to create shade. To ensure the pool was available during the region’s routine afternoon rain showers, the R-Blade’s louvers could also be closed completely to seal out the rain. Ensuring the modern new pergola perfectly fit with the home’s existing architecture, the team customized the pergola height to make the new structure look at home and custom color matched the pergola powder coating to fit the property’s alabaster exterior.
