At SYZYGY Global, we are dedicated to cultivating meaningful relationships within the vibrant South Florida community. Amidst our daily business endeavors, one central pillar of our company’s ethos is to uplift our community and support our neighbors.

Our team actively works with community organizations such as Eat Better Live Better (EBLB), a non-profit focused on improving child health through an array of offline and online nutrition education programs and food donation drives. Additionally, we regularly host local networking events for the young professionals in the greater Palm Beach community. Today, we are excited to share our new partnership with Florida Atlantic University, marking an exciting chapter in our community engagement initiatives.

Our relationship with FAU began with one pergola project at the Jupiter Campus, coupled with a personal connection to RJ Martino, General Manager of FAU Sports Properties. This initial collaboration resulted in another pergola project at the Boca Campus, which has since evolved into a comprehensive partnership that goes beyond a traditional business relationship.

Building a Bright Future: Empowering Students for Success

The most-exciting element of our new partnership with FAU is the opportunity to contribute to the future success of the university’s student body. As part of the FAU “Boca Built Partnership,” which encourages local business from throughout South Florida to engage with undergraduate students, mentor students, and share insights on achieving success, our leadership team will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student success and post-college opportunities.

Helping Guide Success After College

In addition to our direct involvement with FAU undergraduates, we will be extending opportunities for students and graduates to explore career paths. We are excited to offer internships opportunities to FAU students interested in exploring careers in design, marketing, sales, and the construction industry. We will also collaborate with university post-graduate staff to facilitate the posting of career opportunities for students.

Working Together to Support Local Hunger Initiatives

One compelling reason for our FAU “Boca Built Partnership,” is our shared commitment to giving back to the South Florida community. The university’s dedication to the community is commendable, including offering scholarships for students to engage with local non-profits and encouraging students to donate their time to community improvement. We are enthusiastic about involving the FAU community in our ongoing initiatives, such as conducting food drives, and reaching into community organizations.

Supporting Student Athletics at FAU

Studies show that engaging in student athletics yields remarkable outcomes for students. The support systems that sport teams create between players, coaches, and families inherently contributes to graduates’ success in their professional careers. In our efforts to continue this trend, we are honored to provide support to FAU student athletes. While student athletes will benefit from the mentorship and post-graduate opportunities extended by SYZYGY Global and other FAU partners, we recognized an opportunity to contribute further. When we learned that the FAU women’s beach volleyball team needed a courtside space to escape the South Florida sun, we took the opportunity to donate a cabana for their facilities. While a comfortable shade space won’t guarantee a championship, or post-graduation success, we aspire to be a small part of the support system that helps these students thrive.

Conclusion

Our commitment to engaging with and supporting our community, both financially and through our time and efforts, is ingrained in our corporate culture. Every opportunity our team gets to support hungry families or student success brings us one step closer to an ideal South Florida community. We are unwavering in our dedication to expanding our involvement in the community, and we invite you to join us on this journey.
