Our team here at SYZYGY Global is driven by a commitment to people. Inside the walls of our offices that laser-focus is trained on providing the best possible customer experience. Outside the walls of our work, we maintain a similar commitment to the people that extends to our charitable endeavors.
At SYZYGY Global, we pride ourselves on fostering meaningful relationships within our local community and in South Florida, more generally. Part of that commitment is to help lift up our community, support our neighbors, and help South Florida thrive. One community project for which our team is truly passionate is helping to combat hunger in our community.
Despite being comprised of some of the country’s most affluent communities, hunger and food insecurity are persistent problems here in South Florida. Annually, one-in-nine Floridians report experiencing food insecurity, and that rate rises to one-in-six among Florida’s children. At a time when families are struggling with generational waves of inflation and still digging out from the economic constraints of the pandemic, the daily stresses on household budgets only amplify the need for communities to support our neighbors.

Hunger doesn’t take a break during the holiday season, and neither does the team here at SYZYGY Global. Multiple times each year, our team gathers nonperishable foods to donate to local South Florida food pantries. Canned veggies, beans, pasta, rice, and cereal stack up in our office collection bin and we make routine drop offs roughly every six months. While food donations are a critical part of a community’s response to our neighbors in need, we also seek to create meaningful change in the lives of our neighbors.
To that end, SYZYGY Global has partnered with Eat Better Live Better (EBLB), a non-profit focused on improving child health through an array of offline and online nutrition education programs. Its programs are offered in collaboration with local schools and health centers throughout South Florida. Moments of food insecurity often force families to choose less-healthy food options. EBLB teaches children the importance of nutrition and making healthy choices that help alleviate the health impacts of obesity and associated diseases. Together, we plan to help future generations live healthier, happier lives.
“As a board member of Eat Better Live Better, my mission is to bring about positive change in our community by addressing the pressing issue of hunger. I am deeply moved by the plight of individuals who struggle to access nutritious meals, and I firmly believe that as fortunate individuals, it is our responsibility to give back. Guided by this conviction, all my businesses are founded on the principle of contributing to the betterment of our local community. Witnessing dedicated professionals such as teachers, single mothers, nurses, and individuals with advanced degrees struggle to provide for their families compels me to take action. I am committed to implementing sustainable initiatives that ensure everyone in our community has access to healthy and nourishing meals, fostering a sense of dignity and well-being for all. Together, let us work towards creating a community where hunger becomes a thing of the past, and every individual can thrive with dignity and nourishment.”
We are always interested in new opportunities to extend our expertise to communities in need.
