The SYZYGY Global team is excited to attend the upcoming CMAA World Conference and Club Business Expo, which runs February 19–23, 2022 in San Diego, CA. We’ll be on stage alongside our manufacturing partner Azenco, to accept the BoardRoom Magazine “Excellence in Achievement” Award in the best new product category.
The awards are the only private club industry honor that recognize the innovation, achievement, and vision of the CMAA member clubs’ business partners. SYZYGY + Azenco will be honored for its innovative design and work for the Boca West Country Club project completed in 2021.
SYZYGY Global worked with club leadership, as well as its engineering and interior design team, to create a grand covered outdoor dining space. Protected by 21 adjustable louvered roof pergola zones, the fully automated system expanded the restaurant to a 200-seat capacity, and the pergola system extends to cover a truly innovative seven-suite interactive driving facility. Outfitted with advanced ball-tracking technology from UK-based InRange, the driving suites offer an extension of the club’s already-exceptional practice facilities. With their seamless connection to the restaurant, the suites can also be booked for computer-guided practice sessions, or as a venue to host small parties and gatherings.
In addition to the much-anticipated awards ceremony, the SYZYGY Global team will also be in the Azenco booth helping to highlight the great business-driving potential of the high-end outdoor structures we create together. In addition to our Boca West Country Club project, Azenco will be showcasing the spectacular porte cochere covered walkway we designed and installed for Admirals Cove Country Club in Jupiter, Florida.
This project helped refine the entrance to the Admirals Cove club house with an expansive 13-zone pergola system that welcomes guests with a unique design statement. To connect the arrival portico to the spa and wellness center with a covered walkway, the SYZYGY Global team envisioned an architectural arrangement of pergola zones to span the 1,274 square foot space. The project required the use of customized pergola zones and footings, and features a unique two-tone color scheme with all white columns and pergola frames offset by custom wood grain aluminum louvers to match the surrounding architecture. The project is sure to be a real show-stopper at the expo.
