Broken Sound Club aimed to extend the usability of its golf bays, creating a shaded and weather-ready environment for instruction, practice, and entertainment. The original uncovered bays limited member use during peak sun or rain, reducing the flexibility of one of the club’s most active recreational spaces.
SYZYGY Global installed a custom-engineered R-Blade pergola system that enhances comfort while aligning with the club’s modern architectural style. The motorized louvers adapt instantly to changing weather, and smart sensor automation ensures reliable operation during sun, wind, and rain. Fully integrated gutters and durable aluminum construction keep the bays protected and visually cohesive with the surrounding campus.
With the new pergola structures in place, the golf bays now support year-round training and events. Members enjoy cooler, more comfortable sessions, and instructors have the flexibility to teach throughout the day without weather interruptions. The remodel strengthened both functionality and member engagement, turning the bays into a signature amenity within the club.
